Refund Policy

Last updated

Template notice. US consumer refund law varies by state and interacts with credit-card network chargeback rules. Have this reviewed by counsel before you launch.

Summary

First-time customers on a self-serve monthly plan may request a full refund within 7 days of initial purchase, subject to the conditions below.

Conditions

  1. The refund request is made within 7 calendar days of the initial purchase.
  2. Fewer than 10% of the plan's allocated bandwidth has been consumed. Accounts that have used more than 10% of bandwidth have, in practice, received the service and will not be refunded.
  3. The account has not been previously suspended for violation of our Acceptable Use Policy.
  4. The refund is requested by the account holder via billing@proxaro.io from the email address on the account.

US statutory context

Nothing in this policy limits rights you may have under US federal or state consumer-protection law, including any unfair or deceptive acts claim under state "little FTC" statutes. California, Texas, New York and Massachusetts residents in particular should review their state's refund and cancellation-notice requirements; where our policy is more restrictive than a state requirement, the state requirement applies.

Annual plans and dedicated ISP allocations

Annual plans and dedicated ISP allocations are non-refundable after the first 7 days, given the provisioning and capacity-reservation cost we incur with our upstream carriers. Early termination is possible but will not trigger a refund of remaining periods.

Crypto payments

Payments made in USDT (ERC-20) or BTC and settled to our wallets are refunded in USDC on Polygon at the exchange rate published by CoinGecko at the time the refund is processed, unless another arrangement is documented in writing. Network fees are not reimbursed.

How to request

Email billing@proxaro.io with your account email and a brief reason. We aim to respond within one business day. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 business days.
